It takes a great deal of time and commitment to attain any one of these certifications. Each one proves that a high standard has been met and we are proud to have acquired them all.

USDA ORGANIC certification means that all the ingredients are grown in a manner that models natural systems through promoting biological diversity, recycling of nutrients, and replenishing soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The organic manufacturing process assures the integrity of the organic ingredients through meticulous procedures of ingredient and processing segregation, appropriate sanitation, and thorough documentation.

Quality Assurance International (QAI) organic certification means third party certification of organic food systems. This verification effort, which documents the authenticity of organic farming and various subsequent levels of handling, is mandatory under the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service and full implementation of the National Organic Program Final Rule.

NENB is certified bySafety Quality Foods (SQF), recognized by retailers and foodservice providers around the world as the standard for rigorous, credible food safety management systems.

KOSHER certification means that a rabbi or member of his staff has inspected and certified that our products with a kosher symbol are prepared under kashrus supervision and are either dairy or produced on dairy equipment. NENB is dairy/dairy equipment Kosher certified under the supervision of Rabbi Yehuda Kelemer of Young Israel of West Hempstead.

Studies show that eating whole grains instead of refined grains lowers the risk of many chronic diseases. The WHOLE GRAINS COUNCIL believes many consumers want to eat whole grains – if they could only figure out which products qualify.  The Whole Grain Stamp is a special packaging symbol that was designed by the Whole Grain Council to help consumers chose the healthiest food,  you will find the Whole Grain Stamp on all our granola and muesli products.
